INEXTINGUISHABLE: AN OPTIMIST READS 1984 AND FAHRENHEIT 451

Fahrenheit 451 and 1984 both depict a future devoid of thought, but not awareness. Both protagonists differ very little in their demeanor and the books share such similar commentary about complicity and passive acceptance that they might be taking place in the same literary universe.
